Privacy and erasure

Short version of what we store and why. Vouchers and attesters are data subjects too.

Candidates

Email, display name, headline and the employment records you enter.
An optional CV, stored as-is and never shown on your page. Delete it any time.
Signed verification and vouch records. They are immutable; you can hide them but not edit them.
Raw uploaded documents (payslips, contracts) are deleted automatically after 30 days. Only a signed attestation with a hash of the files survives.
Delete your account from the dashboard: everything above is removed.

Your email address, the name you enter and your structured answers.
Your name is shown to viewers only if you choose so. The platform always knows who vouched; that is what makes a vouch accountable.
"Would you work with them again: no" is never displayed to anyone, including the candidate.
No free-text criticism is collected. There is no negative vouch.
To exercise your right of access or erasure, email privacy@example.com from the address you vouched with.

Make automated decisions about anyone. Records here are inputs to a human decision.
Compute or show a single "trust score".
Offer search or a directory. Pages are reachable only by the link the candidate shares.
